What better way to remember your first winter date or shared love for the festive season than by having a Winter Wonderland themed wedding. And it doesn't have to be cold outside, baby, to bring the spirit of Christmas to your wedding celebration. But with Christmas just around the corner, now is the best time to scout for your Xmas-themed wedding food.
Whether you're planning a summer Winter Wonderland wedding or a winter one, Christmas is all about comfort food. So we've prepared just the list to make your dream happen!
Le Swine

The beautifully restored 60s Austin Morris ambulance might serve the best bacon butty in Britain. Having searched the country for the finest fat piggies, Le Swine cater for the burger fans too. Surely not what the doctor recommended, but it's Christmas after all. Everything Le Swine serves is made from scratch by the team behind it, including their signature Bloody Mary.
If you fancy a taste, you can catch them in Lamb Street, Spitalfields, London, E1 6ED.
Oink London

I'm not drooling, you're drooling. Continuing on the butty theme with Oink London who's run by two very lovely people who wanted to combine the heartiness of traditionally cooked butties with exotic flavours. Their mission is to elevate the same ol' butty and give people locally and ethically sourced deliciousness.
If you're in London on Saturday 14th Dec, go check them out at Herne Hill Christmas Market.
The Pork Shack

The Oxfordshire-based trailer travels around the country making its London debut this winter. They bring a taste of The Philippines with their Abodo free-range pork. They make their own sauces and currys and serve their delicious food in 100% compostable crockery.
If you're up for some creative and comforting cuisine, pop by their food truck at South Bank Central in London this month.
The Pancakes Bar

Using only organic ingredients and promoting a healthy cooking style, the family-run pancake venture can flip around 100 mouthwatering pancakes per hour. That's making one and a half guests happy every minute. Typically located in St Albans, this crêperie serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks in any location and on any weather condition...and they have marshmallow toppings! That's flipping fantastic!
Chocmobile

The Hotel Chocolat on wheels is famous for its heavenly hot chocolate and smooth ice-cream. They're also loved for making reduced-sugar chocolaty goods and still ace the taste. The black van is currently spreading cocoa love in Hyde Park at Winter Wonderland.
La Flamenca

A Christmas fair without churros is like a broken pencil...pointless (sorry). The twice Hertfordshire Food & Drink Award winners cook traditional Churros, prepared in their gas open top fryer. They make their own hot chocolate blend served at the perfect temperature to dunk the crispy and cinnamon-y churros.
If you're churrious to try the award winning Spanish treat, catch them at the St Albans Christmas Cracker Street Festival.
Bonus. Booze!
Aunty Elsie's Extraordinary Bar & Kitchen

Yes, that's a gin Christmas tree. If you want it you can ask for their 12 Gins of Christmas. Alternatively, you can go for their Winter Warmer Cocktail Bar: hot apple pie martinis from the Japanese syphons, mulled wine from the tea urn and the ultimate hot chocolate (a creamy vodka cocktail). Either way it's fun.
